There are things a photograph can correct: smoother skin, a more controlled expression, an imperfection erased.
I do the opposite. I paint what no camera has ever seen: the person you were, the one others see, the one you are still becoming.
It is not a portrait for everyone. It is for those who have been through something and are no longer who they were before.
I don’t paint who you are for others. I paint who you are when you stop protecting yourself.

Consultation & Agreement
Before any commitment, we talk through everything I need to create a piece that is truly yours, for you and for the space where it will live. I then propose a few possible directions for the portrait, and together we choose the one that resonates with you most. Only then do we agree on the details and begin.

Creation & Finalization
While I paint, I keep you updated with regular glimpses of the work in progress. Before you approve the final piece, you can request up to two revisions, free of charge. Once you are happy, your portrait is carefully packed and shipped to your door.
