A split second of laughter, the kind you wish you could live inside forever. Amaya, from Asturias, and Juanjo, from Tafalla, celebrated their 2025 wedding at Hotel Don Carlos, surrounded by cherry blossoms and a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. The day was mostly outdoors, where everything felt a little more alive: the air, the music, the love between two people completely lost in the moment. Amaya was so relaxed that she nearly arrived late, which only added to the fun.

You can almost hear the lilting Celtic fiddles weaving through the breeze, feel the green landscape holding them gently, and sense the quiet magic of a day that refuses to be forgotten.

This isn’t just a painting. It’s that fleeting, joyful heartbeat where love and music become one.

Simona & Mihai
A love story painted in motion

Two people who never stopped choosing each other. From leaving Romania to starting over in Spain, Simona and Mihai built their life step by step, through courage, sacrifice and unwavering love. As their bridesmaid, I witnessed everything behind the big day, and I wanted the painting to hold it all.

Bold pinks and reds carry the intensity of their love, while the striking blue of Mihai’s suit stands for strength and tenderness, side by side. Nothing here is perfectly detailed, because their story isn’t about perfection. It’s about feeling, growth and becoming.

Love, lived fully. Messy. Passionate. Resilient. Alive.

This portrait was born from a special story: a Brazilian couple who chose Bilbao as the place for their wedding, a meeting of cultures, emotions and genuine love.

When I paint, my goal is not only to capture a likeness, but to express what is truly felt: the connection, the energy, the joy of a moment that deserves to live on through time. Knowing that, by looking at this painting, they can return to that day filled with smiles, celebration and promises is the greatest reward I could receive as an artist.
